Crankworx Winter Park

Agency: Adrenaline Garage
Client: Crankworx Winter Park
My Role: Designer, Animator, 3D Modeling

A couple years ago, I was part of a camera crew working for Crankworx Winter Park. It was one of the craziest things I have ever seen. Daredevil bikers riding down a mountain side at full speed landing jumps that were 50 feet high. I loved it! While I was there, I told Jeff I also did motion graphics and if he ever needed any help, he should give me a call.

Two years later, I got that call. I snatched up the opportunity without a second thought. Jeff wanted an action sports package that was more "ESPN" inspired than "bike" inspired. I couldn't wait to get started.

The package included an intro video, two lower third designs, a leader board, a graphical wipe, a full 3D course overview, as well as overviews of the course's main elements. While the package was specifically designed for Crankworx, he wanted to be able to use it for other events as well, so each element was also created without a logo.

All of the 3D was created using Cinema 4D and composited in After Effects.
