My Contributions:

  • Played a pivotal role in securing the casting of Wil Wheaton, a major selling point of the film, by leveraging industry connections to hire the right casting director.

  • Utilized existing relationships with sales agents, facilitating the film's sale to IFC Midnight, a significant achievement in the film's distribution.

  • Coordinated the entire post-production pipeline, ensuring the film's visual quality was elevated by hiring a skilled colorist who enhanced its overall look and atmosphere.

  • Demonstrated effective networking and decision-making abilities as a producer, contributing significantly to the film's successful casting and distribution, as well as its polished visual presentation.

My Contribution:

  • Conceptualized and developed "The House in Windsor," a fake documentary-style film, which became an official selection at the 2010 Denver Film Festival. Demonstrated creative ingenuity in producing a compelling narrative within limited resources.

  • Crafted an intricate fictional story of a serial killer in 1960s Colorado, skillfully intertwining historical events like the Charles Manson murders to enhance the film's realism and impact.

  • Resourcefully sourced commercially available footage and photographs, integrating them seamlessly into the film to create a believable and immersive narrative, showcasing adeptness in digital media manipulation.

  • Successfully managed the project from writing and directing to editing, illustrating proficiency in various aspects of filmmaking and a strong ability to deliver a complete, polished final product.

  • Garnered recognition by winning the Colorado School of Arts and Media Digital Visions Best Production, equivalent to a 'best picture' award, highlighting the project's excellence in storytelling and production quality.

  • Unintentionally initiated an urban legend around the film's narrative, leading to widespread online circulation and coverage in publications like The Fort Collins Coloradoan and The Windsor Beacon, underscoring the film's impact and cultural relevance.
